Mammoth Was Here

Woolly mammoths once roamed over vast areas of Eurasia and North America. The calls of these Ice Age giants could be heard in Estonia as well. It is here, near the town of Puurmanni, that one of the youngest mammoth finds in Europe came to light.

Estonian Nature Conservation 100
